Wow! What a wonderful year 2013 has been! I have had the opportunity to photograph many beautiful weddings, newborn babies, families, birth stories and many more! I want to thank all of my amazing clients for choosing Portraits By Lucinda to capture these special times in your lives. I feel honored and have loved every minute of it.
I have also taken into account lots of feedback over the past couple years on what kind of packages you would like to see for portraits and weddings and I am excited to announce we will have all new pricing starting in 2014! It has been 7 years since I have completely revamped my pricing!! We have made it more affordable to get digital files and have created packages to reach many price points. We hope this will help you in the ordering process and make it possible to have your family photographed :)
No onto Bernadette and Michael’s beautiful wedding! This day was an incredibly hot day here in Kansas City (weather I am missing now that it’s mid November!!) but everyone braved the heat and we got some beautiful pictures because of it. I loved the modest vintage feel to their wedding. The details were so soft and timeless. I LOVED the beautiful flowers from Blue Bouquet. They always do such a phenomenal job! Their church was just stunning, it was an older church with such detailed architecture. It made up for the fact that it didn’t have air conditioning!! Wowza that was a shocker on such a hot day, haha. Bernadette has grown up in this church and it was so neat to see her get married in a church she has so much history with. This wedding proved to be tricker to shoot than the average because the whole service was in LATIN!! It was so hard to know what was going on and what would happen next but I managed to shoot like crazy and get it all. Their reception was at the rooftop ballroom at the Intercotinental hotel. It had amazing views of the Kansas City Plaza as their were floor to ceiling windows all the way around the ballroom. I could go on and on about all these stunning details but it’s probably best to see for your self. Enjoy the images!
It was so fun to capture Michael and Bernadette become one. They are so perfect together and compliment each other so well. Their happiness is contagious.
Thanks Michael and Bernadette for choosing Portraits By Lucinda to capture your beautiful wedding!!
