Oh how I wish I could transport myself back to the warm summer! Just looking at these images makes me feel warm. I had such a fun time capturing Rachel. She was so fun and natural in front of the camera. Did I mention beautiful? It amazes me how stylish teenagers are these days. I don’t think I looked anywhere near this good in HS!!

Can’t believe she only has a few months till she graduates! Congrats Rachel.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun this session was! Zoe is just beautiful and so photogenic! Mix that with beautiful wildflowers and perfect light and you get a dreamy photo session.

I was so excited when Zoe contacted me about doing her high school senior photos! It had been quite a while since I had seen her and couldn’t believe she was about to graduate. I actually used to babysit her and last I saw her she was a little toddler with quite the personality. It has been so much fun the past couple years photographing kids that I used to babysit. I can’t believe they are all graduating high school. Way to make me feel old :)

Photo shoots like this remind me just how fast time flies by. It seems like yesterday I was babysitting Jordan at the young age of 3! How is it possible that someone I babysat is old enough to graduate high school?!?! I am so proud of the man Jordan has grown up to be. He is kind, caring, driven and a man of God. He will be attending John Brown University in the fall and he plans on going to med school at KU after he gets his BA. See I told you he was driven :) His father, Dr. Burns, is a family practice doctor at PureHealth Medical. You can tell Jordan looks up to his father a lot and he is following in his path. Ever since he was little I remember him saying I will go to KU and become a doctor. I can’t believe the time has come and he is now on the path to be an MD. I am so proud of him!

Jordan and I had a great time on his high school senior photo shoot. It was great to spend some one on one time together and catch up on life. He had better keep in touch this fall!
