Whew! It’s been a busy couple months. We have been working hard getting set up at the New Birth Company! So excited to start photographing beautiful moms and sweet babies. We are also booking up for 2012 weddings. I have to say I am already getting excited for wedding season so start again, so many pretty weddings coming up!

Sarah was my photo assistant for quite some time! She did such an awesome job and I was sad to see her go, but happy that she was finally married to Bryce! Bryce got a job on PA so she sadly had to move right after the wedding. Even sadder I was already booked the day of her wedding so I couldn’t photograph it, so on one of their visits to Kansas City we decided to have some fun and recreate some bride and groom photos. This shoot was so fun! I got to announce to Darrin and Brianne’s family that they were pregnant with their first baby!! They staged it as a family shoot and then on the last picture Brianne wanted me to ask everyone to say “Darrin and Brianne are pregnant”! It was so funny, people slowly heard what I said, looked at me, made funny faces and completely dismissed what I said. Brianne had to pipe and and say “No we really are pregnant”!!
