Can I just say I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING PROPOSALS! It is so fun to watch the guy planning away on his perfect vision of how he will propose to his love. This one has to be one of my favorites! Here is how it all happened.

Alexandra was in town for the holiday break visiting her parents. She had absolutely no idea that her boyfriend, Michael, was in town getting ready to propose to her! The big event was to take place at Loose Park, such a beautiful setting. I met with Michael the day before the proposal at the park to make sure we had all the details down so the next day would go as planned. He literally thought of everything right down to how making sure the photographer following them wouldn’t give the surprise away. Luckily Alexandras’ family wanted some updated family photos. All along she thought she was just there for a portrait session, but at the end I was photographing just her in the rose garden and behind her you can see Michael coming in the distance. She was so surprised! She of course said yes. Right after she points to each person saying “you lied and you lied and you lied…”. It was so fun to watch her make sense of the whole day. Michael had even hidden a video camera to capture it all. He even filmed the whole planning process and plans to make a video of how the proposal went down.

What a cutie!! Finley has to be one of the most adorable newborns I have ever seen! I absolutely loved capturing her chubby cheeks and she was such a good baby on her photo shoot. What a lucky mom and dad she has! Below you will find lots of cute pictures of Finley, a 3 generation picture and her ADORABLE nursery! Finley’s parents like to travel so they really incorporated that theme throughout her nursery. I think Finleys mom could go into interior decorating! Some of my favorite parts of her room was

Tanner is now a proud big brother to Cole! I had such a great time getting to know these 2 sweet kiddos. Their dad, Brad, was our realtor this last year and he helped us find our very first home.
