Portraits By Lucinda LOVES that we get to specialize in maternity, birth, newborn and babies first year! It’s such a fun and exciting time to capture for a family. It’s such a blessing to do what I love. From childhood I absolutely loved holding little babies. I would easily choose that over going to a friends house any day. I have been like this as long as I can remember. My idea of a perfect day is sitting on the couch, snuggling a sweet baby and having a movie marathon.

I also showed a love for photography and a very young age. As early as elementary school I would set up “photo shoots” of my friends and kids I babysat. It wasn’t until high school that I became more serious about photography. I was really blessed to have an amazing photography program at my high school and I literally lived in that dark room. It was then that I decided to follow my passion of photography and attend Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA to pursue a career in photography. Brooks is the leading school for photography and is rated the best in the world. I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to attend.

With that little glimpse into my childhood you can see there is no doubt I am where I belong. It’s amazing that I have been able to combine my love of babies and photography into my job. I get to be creative and snuggle sweet babies all the time. I am so excited to start focusing my business on my specialities in 2014 and beyond! I have created all new pricing and packages too!

Now onto sweet baby Adelaide. Isn’t she just adorable? It’s has been so much fun capturing this family as they grow. The now have THREE of the cutest little girls!! Adelaide was such a good baby and I loved capturing her. I had to be VERY slow in posing her though because she had quite the startle :)
