This was one of the most special birth stories I have ever had the opportunity to capture. One that is near to my heart. It’s a story of longing, love, hope and a very strong birth mom and adoptive parents that dreamed of having babies of their own one day.

Not only was this my first c section I was allowed to photograph (which was quite amazing) but it was also my first time to document an adoption story and a TWIN birth. So much emotion was rolled into this session and it was quite the miracle to witness. Their birth mom loved them so much that she wanted her sweet baby boys to have more than she could offer. She found the most perfect parents to adopt these little boys who had longed to be parents. I love that the birth mom will still be a huge part of their lives. Watching the love that the birth mom and adoptive parents had for these babies was overwhelming. These are two lucky boys to have so much love in their life.

Jack and Miles were born by c section on March 13, 2014. Miles arrived at 7:28pm weighing 5 lbs. 14 oz. and 17 3/4 in. long. Jack was born soon after at 7:30pm weighing 6 lbs. 7 oz. and 19 in. long. It was such a smooth delivery and the boys were just adorable.

Oh my what a cutie little baby Oliver is!! I did his newborn session in early January and he was my first newborn of 2014. What a wonderful way to start my new year off. I have photographed several newborns since his session so keep a look out on the blog for some more cute little babies. I even have a couple sets of twins and triplet sessions to share.

Oliver was such a good sleepy baby and had such a beautiful head full of hair! I loved getting to meet his parents and capture this special time in their lives. Little Oliver made them parents for the first time. Capturing that love is so special, it’s a love you just can’t miss.

I think this snow we have is making us all want SPRING!! Snow is just not welcome after February :) Today I am left dreaming of hot summer days by the pool so I am posting baby James 7 month session from last summer. I can’t believe how much he had changed from his newborn session! I am in LOVE with his rolls. Does it get any cuter than this? Chubby babies are so darn cute. He is such a sweet smiley baby and his big sister is just the cutest. She really enjoyed getting her photos taken and gave me lots of personality. Hoping for the days where I can feel the warm summer sun during my photo sessions!!
